It’s a fine Sunday afternoon to go for a longer hiking trip, this time to an off-the-coast island of Clear Water Bay, called Green Egg Island. The name itself gives me the imagination of an Easter egg. Starting from Lung Ha Wan Country Trail, we walked up hundreds stairs to the hill top and be embraced by 360 degree spectacular views.

After taking a short break, we started to find the islet which is quite easy to be spotted from above because of its shaped like an egg with a “green yolk” (a small grassy hill in the middle of the islet). The water here is crystal clear and there are many kayakers and snorkellers around.
